How To Train Your Dragon (3D)

I went to Blitz Megaplex Paris Van Java Bandung a couple weeks ago and watched HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON with Rino. Sebelum nonton, sempet deg-deg-an karena kita ngantri sama banyaaakkk banget anak-anak kecil umur 4-10 tahun-an. Kenapa begitu? I’m not that kids hater tapi mengingat jam nonton cukup malam (pukul 21.00) jadi boleh dong saya khawatir? Tapi ternyata kekhawatiran saya sirna. Saya, Rino, Penonton dewasa dan anak-anak di audi 8 ternyata menikmati HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON bersama-sama dari awal hingga akhir. Entahlah.

But this movie is definitely worth to watched. I gave 4 stars for HTTYD. ♣♣♣♣.

Hiccup is not like a common Viking.

But what happened when hiccup ready to stab the dragon? you better watch the movie..🙂

How To Train Your Dragon, Produced by Dreamworks, directed by Chris Sanders and Dean Deblois.

As usual, cartoon movie has moral in it. Moral of the story based on what my brain and heart got :

  1. Jangan cepat-cepat mengambil keputusan
  2. Semua hal bisa dipelajari
  3. Manfaatkan ‘kelemahan’ yang dicemooh orang lain menjadi senjata yang paling sakti

That’s all.. And I think I won’t get bored if someone wanna take me out and watch this movie again.

Btw, before I watched it, I googled it and find out HTTYD book by Cressida Cowell. Here you can find the book version. This is the book cover :

Dan biasaaaaa, Find it on wikipedia.. the differences between the book story and the plot in the movie :

  • In the book the vikings train the dragons, in the film they hunt them.
  • Hiccup has a best friend from the book, Fishlegs, who has been replaced by a “determined” blonde girl named Astrid (voiced by America Ferrera). Though a character named Fishlegs appears in the film, he does not appear to share his counterpart’s attributes.
  • Toothless is a very small dragon in the book; he is also green and of an indeterminate species. In the film, he is black and is a full-sized dragon called a Night Fury. In addition, he has a full set of teeth; his name comes from the fact that all his teeth retract into his gums when he is not eating and not in danger, giving him a toothless appearance. It should be noted that Toothless’s appearance in the book more closely corresponds to the appearance of a different dragon species, the Terrible Terror, than the Night Fury that he is depicted as in the film.
  • In the book, there is a language called “Dragonese,” which is spoken by the dragons; it does not seem to exist in the film.
  • In the book, Snotlout is Hiccup’s cousin. In the film, this relation is not mentioned. Snotlout is very antagonistic and mean to Hiccup all the way through, but in the film he is mean at first but at the end he even obeys orders and appears to be his friend.
  • In the book, the hooligans were exiled, in the movie they were not.
  • In the movie, Hiccup loses his left leg. This does not happen in the book.
  • In the book Hiccup is said to be eleven years old. In the movie, he and the other kids are classified as teenagers.
  • In the book, the giant Dragon is called the Green Death. In the movie, he is renamed as the Red Death.

I love Hiccup, I wanna be Astrid’s best friend and I want one Toothless in my backyard.😀
